Farm Sale

Lowell took us to a farm sale this week (a couple actually but more on the second one later)

This sale was in Geneva and pretty small. No animals, just tractors and machinery. Luckily, they have a small playground there to keep the kids interested. Logan went full on Pirate when he saw their telescope. He walked around say “Rrrrrr” and “Eeeeyyyee” and callling Berti his captain. It was one of the funniest things I had ever seen and as luck would have it, my battery died right as I remembered to take video…Boo, but I still got some cute shots.

Family Soup Supper

Myself, the kids and my hubby all made it to this months family soup supper and I’m so glad we did. The soup was seriously fantastic! I wanted to pick a favorite but I just couldn’t. Kris made an amazing tomato and Kim made a wild rice with mushrooms…They also made grilled cheese (my favorite sandwich ) I didn’t get a photos of the rice and mushroom but trust me, it was amazing! The night was pretty full of activities. Berti and Tate painted a birdhouse and some pinecones. Then we turned on the wii and danced to the music of MJ… not to brag but I won almost all of my dances Then we all just hung out and talked and talked. It was so fun and I can’t wait to do it again.

Indoor Fun

You may have noticed that I'm starting to get photos of BOTH my children smiling TOGETHER in photos *gasp* I've noticed too and I love it :)

I got my Cameras!!!

I finally got replacements for my 2 broken babies. Both are Canon so they work very similarly. They make me so happy and frustrated at the same time. It’s a little hard getting used to all new user menus and extra settings. I’ve loved experimenting and I’ve been taking more photos than ever. One of my cameras has different color settings and I have fallen in love with the Sepia toned photos. I had sepia toned options on my old cameras and I know how to edit color photos but this camera has an extra something that really makes them awesome… so warning, there will be a lot of sepia tones mixed in with my color photos from now on

Also, I’ve signed up for school! I’m so excited to be going to school again and I can’t wait to start. Everything is through the mail so I’ll still be home with the kids (which is a huge plus for me) Ok so on to some of the first photos I’ve taken… and I have LOTS more to come.
