Catcher

Berti is now the official catcher for our team. I think she looks so cute in all of the padding. She has already hit 3 girls with the ball… she’s not great… but she’s getting better  :) She’s much better at bat. We lost again. This time by even more. I think it’s kind of an age thing. Our league is 4 to 8 year olds. Our team has a mix of 4 to 6 year olds. The teams we’re playing have mostly 7 to 8 year olds. It’s a big difference. This is also the first year playing for almost all of our girls. I think next year it’ll be much better. The girls are still having fun though and that’s what is most important.

Graduation and First Game

Liberty’s graduation and her first softball game were on the first day. Her graduation was really cute. The kids got a medal and a certificate. They sang us a couple songs and then we all had cake and cookies.

The below is Berti’s new permanent smile. Her front 2 teeth still haven’t grown in and she is very self concious.

Berti’s first game was really cute. Little kids in uniforms is adorable. They lost. By a lot. It was still fun though.

Track and Field Day

It was very very sunny out. We had to bring our umbrellas out. Kindergarten track day is pretty cute. They run, they trot, they skip, and then they hop in giant sacks. I don’t remember my track days being so funny.

Lolo's last day of school

They had a picnic out behind the church. This cute little girl is Ava. I like her. She’s a great poser. The rest of his friends were super happy to pose for my camera too. If only my kiddos were that easy  :)

Airplanes

Lolo’s class took a field trip to the airfield to check out the planes. One of his teachers husbands flew a plane so the kids got to climb in and sit in it. It was really fun.
