Happy Nine Years Mr. Beautiful!

9 years, 2 states, 2 apartments, 2 houses, 5 vehicles, 11 jobs, 1 evil cat, 5 dogs, 1 rabbit, countless fish and 2 beautiful children later... I still love to claim this man as my own. You're patient, supportive and everything I never thought I'd find in a man. You really do complete me and I can't imagine having a life without you.

Some Christmas lights around my little town.

Santa

Now taking the kiddos to see Santa has been a nightmare for me. 2 years ago, Berti froze and Lolo cried. Last year they both refused to get within 15 feet of them. This year, we missed him at one place and another place changed their schedule so we missed him again. My last chance was when Santa showed up at Elle’s work. She dressed up like an Elf… and looked adorable  :)  The kids were all excited until they saw Santa and then they freaked out again. My last hope was when they agreed to pose with Elle and Eric and Santa slowly snuck into the back of the photo before they could notice… Not what I wanted but it works.

Christmas Programs

This year, I was super excited for the kiddos Christmas program because Liberty got the part of Mary and Logan got to be one of the Wise men. It made me laugh because Logan’s speech is not that great, yet they gave him a longer line then most of the older kids.

During the practice, Berti and Logan both did great on their lines but Logan was not in the mood to dress up and neither one was willing to give me a nice picture.

For the actual performance, it was Berti who was in no mood to dress up and Logan was in a good mood. I don’t remember the last time Berti wore a real dress… I guess that’s why she didn’t like it so much. Once they were at the church, Liberty (Mary) forgot baby Jesus downstairs so Joseph had to get him and he passed him to Berti like he was a football… Berti said her line perfectly. Then Logan came up to the stage and forgot his line so he started breathing deeply into the mic until a teacher read him his line. It was really hard not to laugh at this point. Most of the church did get a good laugh although most people laughed harder at Berti for forgetting the baby Jesus. Everyone of course told me at the lunch afterwards that my kids did a wonderful job… The people in my town are so polite  :)

Liberty also had a performance at her school. I didn’t get to go since I was sick so these are the only photos I got. Her school is awesome though because they did a live broadcast of the performance so I was able to watch from my computer at home. It was super cute! This is her new dress. It’s not big and puffy like the the pink one she wore to the church program so she really liked this one. When she got to the school, she found out her best friend got a new dress in the same color so she really loves her dress now.
