*Costumes*

Ok so I took these photos early to make sure the costumes fit, I'll be posting photos from halloween later. Logan knew immediately what he wanted to be and all who know him know he's OBSESSED with Buzz so mommy was super happy to find this costume cheap! :)

Liberty to 3 hours to pick her costume. Everday since last halloween, and I do mean EVERY day, she's been telling us that she wants to be a witch. Well we went online and looked through 35 witches, 17 fairies and 12 princesses. She got them narrowed down to five she liked...then an ad in the corner of the page popped up with a photo of iron man. We looked up an iron man costume and she right away said "Yep, that's perfect mommy" Seems she's not ready to be so girly :)

The comstumes were both super cheap which made me happy and they fit perfectly. Liberty's even has muscles built into hers. They were so excited to try them on and have been begging me ever since to put them back on.
Even in costume, he wanted to wear grandpa's hat :)

Our Scary Yard

I've had some requests from freinds to post photos of what our yard looks like this year so here are some of the photos I already have. The kids have been so excited since we pulled out our halloween totes from the garage. They've been playing with the masks and helped daddy pick out where each decoration should go. These photos don't show all of the decorations or masks but it's all I've got so far. I'll get some more when everyone is dressed up on halloween. Eric decided to bury our skeletons so they look like they're crawling out of the ground. Berty has been wearing my "jack" socks almost ever day, they do all the way up her legs if she pulls them up :) Lolo loves the homer mask...Berti prefers the scarier zombie. So this isn't a decoration, just a treat that Berti got last week that I thought matched the post :)

Double Take

When I took this photo of Lolo, I knew I had a similar one with Berti so I went searching.

Both photos were taken when they were two years old (Lolo's more like 2 1/2) on the very same slide. I'm definately amazed at the similarities. I think they'd almost be identical if I chopped off Berti's hair. Everyone says they look so much alike, and I didn't really see it until now.

Quick photo Update

So sorry I haven't blogged in like a month, or two! It's been very busy around here. Harvest is in full swing so we're spending most of our days out at the farm. We are so happy that fall is finally here. It's beautiful outside, everyone has pumpkins on their porches and the kids are so excited for Halloween...And I can't believe that it's only a week away!

The Lake Part 3

Logan discovered he loves basketball, with a little help from aunt Cheryl. Liberty was playing soccer... with a basketball with Mitch, but I didn't get any photos of that. Don't ask me how that happened.

We all went up to see great grandma. She was happy to see us and very talkative. I consider it a blessing to see her every time we go. And love being able to share her with my kids...And Look! Both my kids are smiling and looking at the camera!!!! Ok, Berti is kind of making a face but it counts. Grandma has a way with them :)

We got an early birthday cake for Berti. She loved the monsters on it.

And Lastly, our most important night of the trip was our Scrabble Game with Grandma :)

Eric and Grandma have a hilarious feud going on. Unfortunately for them both, the team of Katina and Ross kicked all of our butts this time :)

The Lake Part 2

Night Swimming is my absolute favorite thing to do while at the lake. So we did it a lot... I think almost every night we were there :) We actually took the kids out one night too and they loved it too.
