***Liberty is Two***

We went out to the farm to hang out with Grandpa, Uncle Ross, Jeff, Cara and the puppies. We didn't get to start the party til late so the pictures are a little dark. When Jordi jumped up on the back of Cara's truck, Liberty had to play up there too. She loves playing with Jordi. Out of all of the dogs, he pays the most attention to Liberty. We tried to give Berti a ride on the four wheeler but she cried. She loves sitting on it when it's turned off. I think it's the motor she's afraid of. Eric played with fireworks. They were fun until he forgot to aim up and shot one right passed me. He's still in trouble for that one.We had pizza for dinner. My fancy little two year old ate hers with a fork :)Then it was present time. Grandpa got Liberty a bike. She loved it. It is the perfect size. Her feet reached the pedals perfectly. Daddy pushed her around the yard. She would put her feet on the pedals but she wasn't sure how to use them. Daddy was jealous and had to try out the new toy for himself :)I think Berti had a wonderful time!

Vacation, Some plants, More bugs, and some really cute ones of Liberty

I have finally got the dates settled on my vacation. I will going going up to MN the 28th and staying until after my birthday. Eric is staying home so I'm bringing my friend Cara with me (and Liberty of course). We are going to meet my mom up at my grandma's for the weekend and then follow my mom home for the rest of the trip. It should be a lot of fun. Cara hasn't had a real vacation or left the state in years. Plus I need to show her what a real lake looks like :) This will be the first birthday I've had with my family in a long time...I think probably five years or so. Wow, I'm old :)
I'm looking forward to spending time with my siblings. Also I'm excited that I will get to see Jacob before he goes off to basic training. In case I forgot to mention it, He joined the Marines! I think it is awesome. He didn't really wanna do anything so I'm hoping this will be a great experience for him and give him some direction.

Ok, onto the pictures. The cute ones of Liberty are at the end so you have to look at the bugs to get to them :)

These are the pears that are growing in my neighbors yard. They are maybe the size of my palm. So still very small. I think by the end of the summer they will be nice and big. Also, since nobody lives there, nobody will mind if I pick a couple for myself :) This plant is growing in the back of my Garden. I know I have seen it in the back of the barn back home but I can't remember what it is called. Something cotton...or milk...or something like that...
This is Beau's new dog house. It is the sleeper from an old semi-truck. Are we redneck or what? :) Ok, so I was informed that these are NOT butterflies, just moths. But when they open up, they are so pretty and orange. They look like monarchs. I had to take more pictures. These two are also moths but they aren't the pretty orange kind. The first one is blurry because I caught him flying right passed my foot. The second was sitting on some grass. These pictures were hard to get because these two little guys are tiny... maybe only half an inch big. This is a lady bug! :) These two are just some cute ones of Liberty out at the farm. I edited them myself. I think they turned out pretty good. They look a lot cooler when they aren't shrunk down. I can e-mail you the bigger version. Just let me know if you want it.I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend. I feel so much better today then I have in a long while. I'm looking forward to going out and doing something...Anything. I'm especially looking forward to going to church this weekend. I've been too sick to go for almost a month now. And you know, if I'm getting out more, you will have a lot more pictures to look forward to. I'll try not to take too many more bugs :)

I've got Bugs!!!

I was taking pictures of all the pretty flowers in my yard and it turns out bugs love flowers...Who knew ? :) I posted three pictures of bugs, and three of flowers. I'm hoping I'll be able to post some more tomorrow. My front bush is full of butterflies but none of them will hold still long enough for me to get a good picture. Hopefully I'll have better luck tomorrow.
Enjoy.

Car troubles

It seams I have the worst luck with cars. No I didn't crash my car :) It's ok but it is un-drivable for the moment. I needed to redo the tags on my car this month and switch the car into my name (we bought the car from Ross a couple months ago). Well it turns out Ross can't find the title, so I can't switch the car into my name AND since I already switched the insurance to me, they won't let me tag the car in Ross's name. So until we find the title, my car is parked in the driveway. Very annoying.
Also Eric's car is falling apart. It's still running but the tires are horrible and we need to replace all of them. The electrical parts of the car keep flickering off for no reason. That makes it so the windshield wipers/lights/air conditioning/and radio won't work. So he can't drive it in a storm or at night just in case it flickers out on him again. A mechanic (who is a friend of Eric's) said he should just try and sell the car now before it craps out on us.
Eric is definitely more stressed about it. He's worried that if we get down to one car, he'll be at work one day and I'll have an emergency at home and be stuck there. I see his point but at the same time, I know a lot of people that have only one car and they are doing fine. I also know all of my neighbors so I don't think it would be hard to get a ride anywhere.

In baby news, The radiologists from Lincoln called us back. The rip I have is small enough so he thinks it should heal on it's own in the next few weeks. They will check me out in about five weeks to see how it is healing. I just have to relax until then. I'm starting to get bored with relaxing. I just keep reminding myself it's for the baby. It has given me a lot more time to catch up on my reading. Always fun!
