Park

I honestly don’t even remember the last time I took the kids to the park. We’ve been so busy since it got nice out and then it got too hot. I want to say we’ve been more then once this year but I’m really not sure. When I turned towards the park on our way home from a walk into town, the kids freaked out. They were so excited. They went straight for the slides. Logan even went down the really big ones and his sister was right there at the bottom to catch him. One of the sweetest things I’ve ever seen.

Walk Around Town

Lakeside Afternoon

I was hoping to spend the whole afternoon by the lake. I was so nice when we first got there but then the clouds came rolling in. Berti, who now equates all clouds with tornadoes, insisted that we leave. I tried explaining to her that the most we’d get was a little rain but she wouldn’t listen. I eventually caved and the second we got into the car, it started to pour down on us. I was bummed that my day was cut short but I did get a few cute shots before we left.
