I have a second grader and a kindergartener… And the very day after this, I gave birth to another babe… I feel old. Haha! As big as I was, I was still able to walk them to the bus and take their first day photo. I’m proud of me :)

Lonestar
This was my last trip to the beach before baby T was born. We brought Elle and Garrett with us. It was sunny and warm and I didn’t get sunburned! Woohoo! G-man loved the water. He was smiling like crazy. Baby loved it too. He was kicking almost the entire time I was in the water.

My Baby Girl is 8! (almost)
Eric went all out for Berti’s birthday this year. I think he feels a little bit guilty that our new baby is coming during her birthday. She’s going to be stuck in the hospital all day so we had her party a couple weeks early. We set up a mini carnival in the back yard. We had a dart game, foot ball table, air hockey table, a basketball hoop and a bouncy house. The bouncy house is huge. Seriously, it is taller than my house. It was a princess house so Berti was super super excited when she saw it set up. I didn’t remember to take photos until almost the end of the party so I missed half of the kids. I don’t think I have any shots of the boys that came. Just the little girls. Berti got art supplies, art supplies, and more art supplies. She is one happy artist! If any of you are interested in a Berti Original, just let me know. She loves drawing/painting pictures to send to our friends in the mail.

Local County Fair
This years fair was about the same as always but still fun. The kids got funny balloons and caricatures drawn. Logan ran into his friends and got to play pirate.
The kids didn’t get their faces painted this year because those ladies were rude so I am kind of bummed about that but they still enjoyed themselves.
I don’t know why but Eric insists on making a scene every time he goes on this thing. EVERYTIME! This year, he fake tripped on the twirly hallway and rolled out… Yes he’s over 30. Don’t ask me why he does these things… I just don’t know how to answer that.
Berti got to go on the dragon ride alone. We had perfect timing. There were lines around this thing for awhile but when we walked up, it was empty.

In the end I got to try out some deep fried Twinkies. I think the batter they fry them in and the cake of the Twinkie kind of melted together so it tastes just like a normal funnel cake but with melted whip cream. Not bad. But cheaper to just buy a funnel cake instead.
