Fairbury Park

I am so in love with this park that I am seriously considering moving to the town. It’s further away from friends and family but there is twice the population of Geneva and it it is full of businesses and fun things for the kiddos to do. Plus, there is a radio station where Eric could work! The more I talk about, the more I love the place.

 

Their playground is entirely wood and built up like a big western town. I only took playground photos on my phone since my camera battery was dying. You can see those photos on my instagram HERE. Behind the play ground is on old fountain that I could stare at for hours and then there is a train. A big old pretty one! The whole place is gigantic and would be awesome just to take walks around all day.

 

BTW, the reason we were here to begin with is because Berti had a game at the awesome fields in front of the playground. We were there for two hours and I missed the whole thing because Lolo and I were so caught up walking around the park. That is how big this place is. I feel so bad I missed her game but I had so much fun.

Jamie’s Birthday!

For J’s birthday this year, we went out to Lonestar to grill burgers and eat cake. It was Freezing! Oh my gosh, it was so cold. It looked so nice and sunny but the wind was crazy. Since it was too cold to swim the kids thought it’d be fun to roll down the hill so when you look at all the strange photos below of people laying down, know that they are mid roll  :)

 

Bunnies and Water

Ok maybe don’t mix those two  :)

On sunny days, I like to pull the rabbit cages out of the garage and put them in the grass so they can munch and enjoy the warm breeze. It was hot so the kids decided to pour water all over the driveway and splash around. I had just put all the bunnies outside so we all ended up hanging in the driveway all afternoon. Tried to tan but it didn’t happen. My super pale skin is still as pale as ever… Rrrggg.

Lincoln Race track

A few weekends ago, my best friends parents came down to do some racing at a track in Lincoln. These cars are pretty fun. And really loud! The track was outdoors. It was windy but nice. Behind the paved track was a dirt one that the kids spent most of their time running around. Between running around like crazy and watching the cars, we went to the hotel to do some swimming. It was our first time swimming in a while and it was so fun! I really want a pool… Some day  :)
