*Minnesota Snow*

Over Two and a half feet of this beautiful fluff covered the ground. It was amazing! It was too deep for us to walk through so the boys shoveled us a walkway to get from one house to another.
Logan had thought the snow looked so cool... until he touched it. Once he realized it was cold, he was done. He stayed on the porch and waited to be let back inside.Berti was more interested. I have been telling her about how much fun snowball fights are and she really wanted to throw snow at Hildi :) What made it even better was Hildi really wanted to throw snow at Berti :) Gosh I love little girls. Neither one would go into the deep snow. They stayed on the driveway and picked up snow on the side to fight with.
Elle and Katey dove right in. It may be hard to tell but this is Katey making snow angels. Elle spent most of the time wrestling with her dog Nellie. That was fun to watch too :)

Silly Little Girls

Hildi and Berti enjoyed the first 3 days of their time together and then started fighting. My mom and I have gotten used to this pattern and call it the "3 day rule" Even when they fight, they are cute but getting photos together is such a pain. This time, not only did I get them looking at the camera together but we got them smiling too :) Big Thanks go to Maggie for making them laugh and smile while I was taking photos.

My Minnesota Trip

A couple days before Christmas, I got a call from my Aunt Kim. She informed me that since she was going to be out of town, She would be letting me take her car up to see my family in Minnesota for Christmas. This was a huge and amazing surprise. And the trip was one that I really really needed.
I was worried about the weather at first but it ended up being perfect. On the way there, the first few blocks were super icy here in town, but the rest of the ride was perfect. On the way home, it got foggy and rainy but the roads were still good so all together the driving was great.
Minnesota was fantastic. It was cold and snowy and perfect! I loved every moment :)
All of my brothers and sisters were there and my mom of course. We spent time with Great Grandma, The neighbor Anthony and our cousin Katina and her family.

***HAPPY NEW YEAR***

So Eric's Birthday is New Years Eve and he wanted to go bowling. Dad, Ross, Our friends Dave and Dorene, and ourselves went to the new year's eve family night at the bowling night near us. It was really cool. They gave out hats and noisemakers so the kids could all be really loud for the countdown. No, we didn't stay till midnight :) They set up a countdown to go off at 8:00 so all the families could enjoy it without staying out too late. The kids loved it. I got a strike my first turn. It was all down hill after that so I didn't bother taking a photo of the final scores :) Liberty bowled this time. She loved pushing the ball down the lane. She's not to strong so it usually ended up in the gutter and the ball rolled so slow when she pushed it. Her turns were the longest. She found an orange ball that she loved. She claimed the ball was all hers but she also encouraged everyone else to use it during their turns since it was "the best ball ever" It was a really great family night out.
