SURPRISE!

So late one night, about midnight, I got a knock on my door. I was awake so I wasn't mad but I was wondering who would be knocking at this time of night. I opened the door and found Katina! She and Eric had planned the whole trip behind my back so it would be a big surprise. It was definitely a HUGE surprise. We had a great weekend together and the kids loved having her around! She brought toys :) She gave Liberty a Lite Bright. I had hone when I was little so I think I was more excited then Berti when she opened it up. This one is so cool too. It's a cube so you can work on four pictures at a time. Berti's first choice in pictures was a jack o lantern... awe, just like her mommy :)
Katina brought giant Lego's for Logan. I thought this was the absolute perfect gift! Logan thought so too. Don't you just love that face? :)

I'm Thankful For...

These guys:
We had such a great Thanksgiving at Aunt Kim's.
We got to eat some great food, Eric hung out with the guys, Berti chased around the older girls, and Logan spent the night jealous that I was giving all my attention to the new little baby girl in the family, Just kidding, I only held her for a little while and Logan was very sweet to her :) Oh and My double layer Pumpkin Cheesecake was a huge hit! If you want the recipe, let me know and I'll e-mail it to you.

Halloween Photos

And only two months late :) Haha. Ok so if you are wondering why our pumpkins are painted, it's because Berti and Logan color and drew on them before I could paint them. At first I thought it looked cool but then when we carved them you could only tell what they were at night with candles lit, During the day it was a weird trip :)
As I said before, Berti was a lady bug again. We even made her fingernails red and black polka dots. She loved her wings and was so excited to dress up. She loves Halloween.
Logan on the other hand hated his costume, he kept trying to take it off and he was crabby... until he got candy, then he was a super happy baby!

Some Nuts!

OK so this photo might not seem too interesting but if you look closely, you'll notice the grass is dead everywhere except the center house. His grass is bright green. This guy had his sprinklers still going in the middle of NOVEMBER! I understand loving your lawn but in November? It's not like people will think his lawn looks bad, every body's lawn is dead. That's what happens in the fall. To me that seems like a big waste of time and water.

Liberty's Favorite Subject

Liberty has begun stealing my camera so she can take photos. At first she was only taking photos of her toys, I told her she needed to take photos of things that are alive and look who she chose...

Eric thinks she's already a better photographer then me... I think he may be right :)

DINOSAURS

Ok so Ross and I were driving to Lincoln to pick up his truck one day. We were mid conversation when all of a sudden I yell out "Oh My Gosh It's a DINOSAUR!!!" Ross gets the most puzzled look on his face and I say "Seriously look behind you!" This dino scarred the crap out of him too. On the edge of a corn field, over looking the interstate is a twenty something foot T-Rex. It is so cool. They put it up to advertise for the new dinosaur museum. No billboards, just a big scary Dino. The kids and I love it and Liberty has been asking me to take her to see Aunt Kim in Omaha just so we can see the Dinosaur.

Christmas Card Photo Shoot

It is so completely impossible to get a good photo with BOTH my kids together... Rrrggg!
I try and I try, oh well, here are the duds :) I think they are still cute so I had to share. For my Christmas cards, I went with some completely different photos that I thought were funny and cute.
And here is a cute one of Logan on his own.
Oh and I do have Christmas cards coming, they are just going to be a little late. I was ordering a couple things online, including my photos, and decided to do standard shipping since I didn't need any of it for Christmas, then I remember I need my Christmas cards. Haha. I'm hoping they get delivered before the 21st and then I'll get them sent out right away!

Be thankful if you don't live in Nebraska

Because Berti is learning to drive a tractor!
