MN trip Three

While at grandma's, same as I do at home, I tried to get some photos of the kids together. They aren't that great but at least they are both looking at the camera :) I actually got a handful of decent shots with my camera this same day (will post in next blog) We also got to spend the afternoon with great great grandma before we left town and that was a lot of fun. The kids were great and Logan kept giving grandma kisses. She was very happy to have us come out and see her.

MN trip Two

The weather was perfect while we were at grandma's. The water was warm but since Berti refused to go in the water, don't ask me why but her favorite words are I don't like...She doesn't seem to like anything anymore, It's like I'm living with a teenager, only pint sized :) Anyways, Berti wouldn't go into the water so we went out on the boat a lot. She claimed she didn't like that either but once we got going she had a lot of fun. Both Logan and Berti took turns riding on grandpa's lap and driving the boat. The boy's enjoyed a beer, and Katina and I got to soak up some sun and Nope! I didn't get sunburned this time :)

MN trip One.

I have to apologize ahead of time for the quality of these photos. Berti and Hildi got ahold of my camera during our trip back in June and it's Been bad ever since. I can't take a decent indoor photo to save my life, they are too dark and grainy, the flash is shot and the out door photos are a little blurry unless I use the flash but if I use they flash they are completely blown out. I'm really upset about it. I think I only took 5 good photos the whole trip. Well, I love them all since they are of my family but the quality is driving me nuts. I might as well have brought out a cheap little disposable... Ok, enough complaining. Onto our trip.

We brought our friend Jeff with us this time although you may not notice since he is very good at dodging my camera. The only shots I got of him were when we were trapped on a boat and he couldn't hide because he can't swim :) Haha.

We started our trip off at my mom's. It was a lot of fun. I got to see Elle practice barrel racing... those photos turned out so bad I'm not even going to show them. The boys snuck off whenever they could to get taco bell, don't ask me why but apparently Minnesota's taco bell is magical. Berti and Logan ran around with Hildi the whole time, I hardly saw them, they were having so much fun. Here are the photos I took at my mom's.

Painting with my baby

I know it's been awhile but since I know you'll all trust me when I say my kids have been cute all of my absence, I'm going to show you something new. Berti and I love to paint...As you will see she likes to paint me :) but today she did a really cool painting. It's very abstract. And she did it all. My hand prints are on the painting but she painted my hands and told me where to put them. It's sad, she's only 3 and she's already a better artist than mommy. She must get it from her grandma :) The shirts that she and I are wearing are our painting shirts so it's ok that they're messy, and you'll see in the pictures that we are messy painters! I find it's way more fun when its messy.Did you think I'd forget a picture of LoLo :) Oh and don't bother telling me, I know they both need haircuts. I'll be getting Logan's hair and Berti's Bangs trimmed soon.
