I want to say this was a busy day but in truth, all my days this summer have been pretty crazy and this one by comparison is just sort of normal. I’m honestly counting down the days to school starting so I can get a break. But there won’t be a break because that is when the baby comes :) Oh it’s always something. Anyways, on this day I got to spend a couple hours with one of my best friends when she was in town at the zoo and I got to relax after all the zoo walking with my family too.

Lakes and Pools
We spent a lot of this week on the water. These photos are all from one day. First we went down to the lake to hang out with a friend of Logan’s from preschool. We saw a crane and some dragon flies and played with an adorable pup named Mia. Then we went up to the pool in York to see daddy do a remote, and splash around in the water. This place is really awesome. There is a zero entry kiddie pool with slides and sprinklers. There are adult size slides in another pool. There are high dives in yet another pool. There is a lap pool. They were all connected but all together there were 5 separate swimming areas. And they were huge! I was almost like being at a water park. It was really really fun. I absolutely wanna go back again.

Explore it Museum
At least I think that is what this place is called… it might not be. Anyways, it had loads of stuff for the kids to do and was a lot of fun. It wasn’t very big nut it was affordable so I definitely think we’ll be coming back with the kids again soon.

This is Elroy
He is our new turtle. Isn’t he adorable? Eric still has his irrational fear of reptiles crawling into our bed at night and eating his toes… that isn’t a joke. He’s actually told me that more than once… but he seems to be ok with Elroy, as long as we keep him in his tank. Whenever I talk about letting him walk around on the floor Eric immediately says ”NO”
It’s really kind of funny.
